Although this is not a comprehensive list of questions and answers, we've tried below to tackle the most frequently asked questions that people have about ToddPilates & Barre, our classes, instructors, locations, etc. If you have a question that is not answered here, please feel free to contact us via email at todd@toddpilates.com or via phone at 512-659-6740 and we'll do our best to respond in a timely manner.
We provide all the mats and props you need for class. All you need to bring is a water bottle (although we do have cups). You can refill your water bottle at a cooler/water bottle refill station.
Wear comfortable clothes to work out in. Since many moves in our classes require your legs to be elevated, it's a good idea to wear tight bottoms or compression shorts. All of our classes are done barefoot or with sticky socks. Of course, we'll let you wear shoes if you need to (this is more often the case in a barre class).
Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the class start time, especially if you're new to our studio. This will give you ample time to get set up for your workout and introduce yourself to the instructor.
We recommend making reservations for classes, especially those in the evening and on Saturday morning. The easiest way to make reservations is by using the Achieve Client App. Note: Reservations are released 10 minutes prior to class start.
Absolutely! Our classes are taught to all levels, from beginner to advanced, and without any competition. Our studios are judgment-free zones so you'll never feel intimidated or like you don't fit in.
Yes, you can use your class pack or unlimited membership at all of our locations.
Of course, just send an email to todd@toddpilates.com with the date you're leaving and when you expect to return. Your next payment will be pushed out by the number of days you froze. Note: You can freeze your unlimited monthly for a maximum of 3 months at a time.
We will never charge you for a no-show or a late cancelation...ever.
We have a lost-and-found area at each studio and place any left items there. Simply ask a studio assistant about your item the next time you come to class.
Our instructors are not certified to teach pre-natal classes. If you are looking for pre-natal modifications, you can visit our blog post here. Note: If you weren't doing Pilates, barre or yoga or if you weren't exercising regularly prior to your pregnancy, we kindly ask that you show us your doctor's permission to do so before class.
Yes! Our classes are designed to benefit everyone. If you need a stronger core for activities like surfing, skiing and golf then Pilates is for you. If you're looking for stronger legs and glutes for things like running, tennis and swimming then barre is a great addition. Both class types will help you become stronger and leaner.
